POCKET COLLECTIVE
The First Thursday Blues Club are extremely pleased to have the Pocket Collective Blues Band as our guests on Thursday, 6th March 2025.
They are a local band and when not playing local festivals, they can be found performing across the Central Belt of Scotland at various places like the Howling Wolf in Glasgow or the Borders Blues Club at Innerleithen.
Fronted by Emma Irving on vocals with her emotive,smooth and soullful voice, the band's members include Ross McLeod on lead guitar, with support from Andy Cronin on Harmonica, Chris Day on bass and James Jeffrey on Drums.
The band are a 'pocketful' of talent with Blues and Jazz influenced grooves played with warmth, heart and soul.
The support will be the Latitude 56 Blues band

Our Venue
In the intimate atmosphere of the Prestonfield Golf Club function room, all guests get a comfortable seat and stunning views of 'Arthurs Seat' and the surrounding landscape. With an entry fee of only £5 for top class Blues entertainment, you also get free "off street" parking in our car park and visitors to the club will find our drinks prices at a very reasonable level. Doors open at 18.30 on club nights with the support band commencing around 19.30. The main artiste usually commences around 20.45 and last orders at the bar are at 22.00
