Latitude 56 blues band start at 7.30 pm

The band were born from the remnents of the Edinburgh Blues Academy and perform a mix of traditional Blues songs along with their interpretation of modern day Blues classics.

Tim Elliott and the Troublemakers are playing from 8.45pm till 10.00pm

Tim Elliott & The Troublemakers is a prominent Scottish acoustic-electric blues project fronted by Tim Elliott, the legendary founder and former frontman of the award-winning Scottish blues group Blues 'n' Trouble.

The project serves as a showcase for Elliott's signature, take-no-prisoners blues harmonica playing and raw, smokey vocals.

The line up brings together seasoned veterans of the Scottish blues scene with Tim Elliott on Lead vocals and harmonica, Sandy Tweeddale on Guitar and Chris Agnew on Bass.

The group specializes in refreshing old-school and pre-war rural blues classics.

They deliver a 'rough and tough' vintage sensibility that bridges acoustic blues backlines with a driving electric energy

Our Venue

The First Thursday Blues Club has now relocated to the Function Room of the Leith Dockers Club at 17 Academy Street, Edinburgh EH6 7EE where all guests get a comfortable seat with a table in a recently refurbished area. Situated at the bottom of Leith Walk, the Dockers Club is located next to numerous bus routes (1,13,21,25,35 and 49) and is only 100m from a main tram stop. With an entry fee of only £5 for top class Blues entertainment, visitors to the club will find our drinks prices at a very reasonable level. Doors open at 18.30 on club nights with the support act commencing around 19.30 The main artiste will commence around 20.45 and complete by 22.00 Last orders at the bar are at 23.00
