The band serve up classic blues the way it was meant to be played-raw, honest and full of soul. Drawing from the music of Lightnin' Hopkins, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, Muddy Waters, and many others, they deliver everything from Delta blues and Chicago shuffles to driving blues-rock grooves

Al Brown and The Bluelighters are playing from 8.10pm till 10.00pm

Al Brown is this country’s finest Blues Guitar player of the modern era-without question. He is outrageously talented with a signing voice that matches his wonderful guitar playing.

Al is well respected among blues fans and fellow musicians for his authentic playing and engaging live performances.

To quote ‘Blues in Britain’, Al is a breath of fresh air in the world of numerous blues rock guitarists.

Our Venue

In the intimate atmosphere of the Prestonfield Golf Club function room, all guests get a comfortable seat and stunning views of 'Arthurs Seat' and the surrounding landscape. With an entry fee of only £5 for top class Blues entertainment, you also get free "off street" parking in our car park and visitors to the club will find our drinks prices at a very reasonable level. Doors open at 18.30 on club nights with the support act commencing around 19.30 The main artiste usually commences around 20.45 and last orders at the bar are at 22.00
